Let’s talk birth! The emphasis on this meeting is to outline your birth plan. Although labor and delivery will often take its own course and move far beyond your “ideal” vision for it, a birth plan ensures awareness of the many options you have the autonomy to make during labor and delivery. You want to approach your day of delivery with a trusting perspective of your inherent strength and ability to birth.

There is an overal theme that the presence of a doula brings to the sacred space of birthing. We work to ensure that you have room for your body to do the thing it knows how to do best, on your terms. From breath work to movement to self dialogue lets work together to tap in and make this experience really good for you.

Now comes a period of unfamiliar territory and immense change. This is a time to check in with the family unit as a whole. We will sit down and process your birth experience, your mental state, and ways to keep you grounded during this time. Any questions or concerns with baby can be discussed from sleep to lactation.

Emotional support- Listen to & ease outcomes of birth experience, support families, and instill infant care confidence

Breastfeeding- Help with latching, breast comfort, pumping, & bottle feeding

Birth Recovery & Physical Care- C-section recovery, healing techniques, warning signs

Newborn care-feedings, diapering, sleep schedule, contact naps, etc.

Birther Support- Pumping, feeding, & physical supports

Household help- Laundry, bottle cleaning, dishes, organization, etc.

Usually starts at 3-4 night/week
