Psychology: The Foundation

I am a graduate from the University of San Diego with a degree in psychology and a passion for maternal health as a birth justice advocate. The abundant amount of courses I have taken incudling: Sex, Power, and Politics, Developmental Psychology, and the Psychology of Black Families have all revealed the urgent need for strong women standing at the forefront of reproductive rights in our country. Our current culture reflects a deeply flawed history built on shame and in turn an overall lack of knowledge in regards to female health. Lets start questioning systems, generating conversations, and increasing education on all things female health whether that be the menstrual cycle, birth control, pregnancy, etc.
